Relational Psychiatry with Prof Russell Razzaque
Prof Russell Razzaque is a London based consultant psychiatrist with over twenty five years experience in adult mental health. He is currently leading the pioneering multi-centered Open Dialogue study in the NHS in England, which seeks to transform the model of health care provided to patients with major mental health problems. Russell is Director of Research in his NHS Trust and he is also a mindfulness meditation trainer with a special interest in personal development for clinicians and psychiatrists. He started the Relational Psychiatry Vlog in Summer 2020 as a way to engage in a dialogue with colleagues around the importance of therapeutic relationships and the need to orientate training, research and future service development around it.
